@Thaodan not agree with you.KDE connect is for me not really transparent and user freindly, for the user.
It works only with the system in form of interaction with event alert of the system. an event comes and it will be handled.
It is really minimaliste on what it is expected on user experiment on the same way as the airdroid can do.
I find this solution really not interesting. I don't think that you've understand what is the proposal.
Having a tool that use many interfaces, describes on frontend connectivities and backend, that it give user a really powerful experiment on connection/immersion with his device.
I ask me why, why do you want to choose something which already exist, and is minimalist, and settle for it. when you have made already a big step on investing in a new system which is different as the other ones (ios,android,blackberry...)?
And on the other side, you told sftp works, and mtp too. fine that is the best case. One of both don't works anymore (like it does shortly for me) and you are in worth case so fast. I wished i had such a solution as proposed above, ota or on cable (usb). That's for me a fact that could not be ignored.
naturally I won't spit on a solution like kde connect, it better as nothing. but it still too limited. has less ambitions (its my point of view).
